Fire is bright like the light within It's ignited with passion It's ignited with pain Fire is destructive, like our human ways Will we rebuild from the ashes? Or will we gracefully slip away?
The phoenix knows when its time has come To not be destroyed, but to transform It rises from the ashes to sing a new song In death and rebirth, we are all one
Darkness comes not knowing its name It fights and it suffers again and again “Look in the mirror,” the light says "See your reflection of me instead" But, the darkness replies “I am you.” “Will you love me too?”
The light and the dark then embrace They dance across the moon face to face No longer afraid, their hearts are light Like the fire that burns brightly
